Star Wars RPG skills and Species overview (work in Progress) Version 1.0

 Skills:

  • Language: language allows players to select from a variety of languages used throughout the galaxy. If they learn that language it allows them to communicate with NPC’s and other players more easily.  The Language class cannot be learned rather it is developed over time based on your companions.(all species understand basic but not all can speak it.

    • Shyrriwook

    • Huttese

    • Rodian

    • Sith

    • Sullustan

    • etc

  • Strength: strength is attached to melee combat and players will earn skills of strength from participating in melee combat.

  • Accuracy: accuracy is attached to ranged or blaster combat and players will earn skills of Accuracy from participating in ranged combat.

  • Tech: tech is a skill focused around three trees when players earn renown(XP) they can dump it into the tech tree and then into the different classes of tech.

    • Engineering: engineering focuses on Starship repair and upgrading

    • Security: security focuses on lockpicking and terminal slicing, as well as the interception of enemy transmission

    • Droid Smithing: droid smithing deals with the care of droids, hacking of droids and droid repair

    • Weaponry: focuses on the upgrading of friendly weaponry and weapon repair

    • Explosives: focuses on the usage and unlocking of new explosive devices

  • Stamina: focuses on the movement and ability to sustain combat

    • Parkour

      • Agility: the ability to jump buildings grapple and climb

      • Acrobatics: the ability to flip, and do amazing feats.

    • Melee Combat

      • Athletics: buffs damage taken in melee combat

      • Martial arts: buffs melee combat

      • Fighting Stamina: the ability to continue to fight without being winded 

        • Subtract the difference of this skill as a modifier into the stamina usage cost for attacks.

    • Movement

      • Sprint:the ability to move more spaces on the board

      • Stealth: the ability to move unseen

    • Usage: is the stamina total that is being used through abilities and attacks and while resting can rise but while attacking or by using abilities can lower.

      • To determine usage please consult this formula (level)100 +skills points put into usage additional modifiers

  • Social skills: the socialization of players with NPC’s or other players

    • Charisma: the ability to barter, convince in terms of Underworld or Civillian or enchant(flirt)in social interactions

    • Leadership:the ability to inspire, to boost allies skills in combat

    • Diplomacy:the ability to negotiate, to convince in terms of Enemies, Imperials or separatists.

  • Survival: the survival skills necessary for traveling the galaxy and surviving a journey

    • Topour: the ability to not take damage or be penalized from weather conditions or nature

      • To determine topour please consult this formula(level)(skill points put into topour)+modifiers

    • Health: the way to boost the max health of a player

      • To determine health please consult this formula (level)(skills points put into health)+modifiers

    • Armor: the ability to use higher level armor the ability to take less damage

    • Weaponry: the ability to use higher level weaponry the ability to deal more damage with more advanced weaponry

    • Medicine: the way to heal other players

    • Piloting: the ability to drive vehicles and starships

    • Luck: the ability to cheat at sabaac and boost the likelyhood of dealing critical damage ,dodging enemy attacks or making quick escapes

    • Crafting:the ability to make crude or primitive weapons

    • Tracking: the ability to track down mission objectives or targets

  • The Force:these are skills associated with the Force and some are locked behind certain classes

    • Knowledge: the knowledge skill is given to all players and it is how one gains renown/XP.

      • Xp is generated by defeating an enemy: turns taken by this player to defeat an enemy(Knowledge Skill)

      • Renown is generated by 1D20(Knowledge) for a specific faction and available only upon doing missions for specific factions or defeating enemy units for said faction.

    • Wisdom: the ability to boost skills such as leadership and to analyze situations and produce wisdoms

    • Intuition: the ability to sense attacks, dodge opponents, block with lightsabers and detect hidden roles and agendas

    • Discipline: the ability to withstand damage and reduce penalties from weather conditions and gain more critical hits with a lightsaber

    • Rage: the ability to gain more critical hits with Dark side abilities and lightsabers, when using rage, players gain Darkside Karma

    • Serenity: the ability to gain more critical hits with the lightside of the force or to heal ones party while in combat, when using serenity players earn lightside karma

    • Force Sensitivity: the ability to use force abilities and to shorten the refresh of force abilities and to strengthen force abilities

      • Will also help determine Total force using the equation

        • Force Sensitivty(Level)+proficiency bonus +all other force Skills=Total Force

Species and/or Creed:

  • Human: Imperial stealth boost +2

    • Alderaan:diplomacy boost +5

    • Coruscant: Imperial Stealth Boost+5, will start with 2 extra languages

    • Chandrila: Rebel Loyalty+5 Imperial Stealth-2

    • Bespin: Luck boost+5 Charisma Boost+5

    • Mandalorian: Combat Boost+10 (they may start and use Mandalorian weapons and beskar armor) armor+20,(Beskar Armor+50) weapons+10, will start with knowledge of Mandalorian Language as a given, as well as two other languages

    • Vardos: Imperial Loyalty +5 Rebel loyalty-5 +2 accuracy

    • Tatooine: Topour Heat+5, learns Huttese

    • Outer Rim: Outer Rim +5(to all skills when in the outer rim)

    • Socorro:Luck+5 Charisma+10

    • Corellia: Luck+5 Piloting+10

    • Lothal: Intuition+5 Charisma+5 Tech +5

    • Dathomiri:Rage+5 Force+2

    • Naboo: +2 Diplomacy +2 Leadership +1 Medical

  • Gungan: Can breathe under water Topour on swamp world+3, underwater and swamp combat+3, acrobatics+5

  • Wookie: Rage+5, when damaged gains +2 extra damage per time attacked, Strength+200(cannot speak another language but Shyriiwook, but can learn and understand other languages) large in size, combat boost on forest and jungle worlds. Rage is used as a modifier for all attacks, without giving Darkside Karma.

  • Gamorrean:Combat+5(doesn’t speak anything but Gammorean but can learn and understand most other languages)health+3, large in size

  • Twi’lek: Charisma+2, luck+2 (can speak Huttese, Basic and Twi’Lek)

  • Sullustan: Piloting+2, tech+3

  • Zabrak: Stamina+5,combat+2

    • Dathomiri:Rage+5 Force+2

    • Iridonian: Stamina+2 Serenity+3 (if not force sensitive give +4 to other logical skill)

  • Duro: Topour on swamps+5, Luck+2

  • Togruta: Stealth+3, Tracking+2

  • Trandoshan: Tracking+10, Strength+5,Survival+5, large in size(roll to decide if they only speak Dosh or if they can speak both Dosh and Basic) Trandoshuns heal when in Dioxis.

  • Droid: must be part of Droid Class. Start with 20 extra skill points but must be placed into one or two logical skills due to programming; none of these skills can go into knowledge. Droids are not able use the Knowledge Skill, and Topour doesn’t effect them.

    • Droids also get Armor= to their health.

  • Mon Calamari: Piloting+5, can breathe underwater,Engineering+3

  • Bothan: stealth+6, Imperial Loyalty-5

  • Quarren:Engineering+4, can breathe underwater, stealth+2

  • Chagrian: can breathe underwater, Tracking+2,diplomacy+2

  • Nautolan: Can breathe underwater, toxin detection, underwater combat+3, knowledge+2

  • Kel Dor: can breathe in the vacuum of space and is immune to toxic attacks, +3 combat

  • Ugnaught: Tech+5, Crafting+5, short in size

  • Rodian: Stealth+2,(can speak Rodian) topour on swampworld+3,

  • Clone: the clone starts out with maxed out logical skills but due to their accelerated Aging their skills weaken over time,gaining wisdom+5 for everytime they age. Cannot use force abilities, maxed out skills do not apply to force abilities except knowledge.

  • Pantoran: Ice/Winter Topour+5, charisma+2

  • Chiss: stealth+5, knowledge of the unknown regions, Knowledge+3

  • Clawdite: can change their appearance,their skills are based off of the species by which they transform. However they do not take environmental based skills, only numerical skills.stealth+30

  • Anzellan: Tech+5 Droidsmithing+10(if they have the droid smith class,Droidsmithing+30), Short in size

  • Weequay: (Speak Huttese,and basic) +10 when bartering with black market,health +4, +2 combat, when on desert worlds gain a +3 combat bonus

  • Devaronian: Fire Proof,strength+5, large in size

  • Pau’an:health+10, stamina+2, tall in size natural nightvision

  • Utai: Tech+5, Engineering+10(cannot speak galactic Basic, speaks Utai), short in size. Natural Nightvision

  • Jawa: can identify garbage from scrap with ease, Tech+10(cannot speak galactic basic,speaks Jawaese, but can understand most other languages) Short in size. stealth+5

  • Ardenian: any weapon their class comes with is doubled by two, all tasks are completed 2X faster due to double arms. Piloting+10, cooking+10,Survival+5, short in size

  • Besalisk: any weapon their class comes with is doubled by two, all tasks are completed 2X faster due to double arms. Strength+10, cooking+10, armor +10 (when this species is a force user the player may equip them with two double bladed sabers or four standard sabers) large in size.

  • Kaminoan: Medicine+5, Engineering+5,Intuition+5

  • Cerean: +10 Knowledge Skill,+5 Wisdom Skill, +20 Intuition, start with 10 extra skill points. And can start with two extra languages learned.  Can do two actions in one turn due to binary brain.
